so i have my 12-week appointment today. we should hear the heartbeat for the first time, should all go well. dave and i are both a bit nervous, since the reality of something not being right is a lot closer to us today than it has been so far. but we're keeping a collectively cool head -- after all, my belly is growing daily, so why shouldn't everything be ok?
i do have my 12-week produce update to post, but i'm going to wait until we get back from the midwife and know that everything is alright.
the appointment is at 4:45. see you sometime this evening.
