in the area of diapers, it really bugs me that disposables remain in a landfill for 500 years. they are clearly not biodegradable. still, i'm not willing to use cloth diapers. call me selfish, but that's not a road i'm willing to walk down.
enter gDiapers. they're cloth outer diapers with biodegradable, flushable inside liners. so i don't have to wash out cloth diapers, but the disposable part is good for the environment. this is a bus i could get on.

i've checked prices against other disposables. while obviously the outer cloth pants are more expensive, the interiors come in around the same price as other disposables. so i'll spend an extra $30-60 initially, but that's reusable and rewashable stuff.
i think this is the right road for us.
